Downtown Mason City Storywalk – Downtown, Mason City. Families will enjoy reading the book ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’ by Giles Andreae as they walk through beautiful downtown Mason City. Pages from the book will be displayed in the windown of downtown businesses and organizations. The first pages can be found at CENT Credit Union and directions to the next pages are on each sign. Particpating business are: CENT Credit Union, Historic Park Inn, Rieman Music, Lucy & Olive, Opies Skate Shop, Moorman Clothiers, City Center Apartments, North Iowa Regional Commerce Center, Shupick and Associates, Central Park Dentistry, Brick Furniture, North Iowa Therapy Associates, Active Family Chiropractic, and City Hall. Exhibit: Iowa Crafts Hank Hall- Charles H. MacNider Art Museum (Kinney-Lindstrom Gallery), 303 2nd St. SE (641-421-3666).  Hank Hall won Best in Show during the Iowa Crafts: 42 exhibitions in 2016.  The exhibit will feature his clay and mixed media sculptures in a 2018 exhibition.
