My Column, May 2017--Bruce Wasenius

Well, it's May already...seems as though it was just April now another 30 has crept past without being noticed.
Time is such a subjective thing, a month preparing to move passes by seemingly too fast and a month away from home doing something you don't enjoy is an eternity.
We're down to the last month of school for a lot of people, vacations are being planned.
Here in North Iowa Spring is having a season delayed by clouds and cold but it will show up soon. The seasonal birds are returning with a sure sign of better weather.
If you are looking for something music, art or life related this website is the place to find it.
I am looking forward to being able to spend some time out in the yard and garden because it's good for the yard and for me. I like the idea of neighborhood gardens too. I think grade schools should have classes plant and tend some vegetables in a garden and even include them in school lunches.
It is about time to get ready for enjoying the longer, warmer days I hope the next 31 days are kind to you and yours.
