Hegenbarth: Capturing the Natural World - Charles H. MacNider Art Museum(Center
Space Gallery), 303 2nd St. SE (641-421-3666). The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is pleased to
highlight the whimsical images created by Mason City artist, Hava
Hegenbarth. Hava
Hagenbarth: Capturing The Natural World, includes 29 prints
and drawings. Hagenbarth’s artwork, featuring an assortment of animals
and natural landscapes, will transport the viewer to the continent of Africa
without leaving North Iowa. Hegenbarth is retired from the U.S. Foreign Service
where she served primarily in Africa. She always had a love and talent
for art but pursued other interests in her career. She now has the free
time to create the art she loves and share it with Museum visitors. Exhibit

3rd Annual
CLDT Glo-Run/Walk
-City Park/Sea Wall, Downtown Clear Lake (641-430-8765). We are excited to announce our 3rd Annual GLO-RUN! The
run/walk will start at 8:30pm at the seawall by City Park; the route will take the
runners down South Shore Drive to Pine Tree Park then back to the finish line
at the City Park seawall. There will be free glo-products, t-shirts (to those
who registered by Aug. 8th) and participants will be asked to wear reflector
tape! Participants are encouraged to have fun with this event- get a team
together, dress-up in glo-in-the dark gear, bright colored outfits, ect. Get
your group together today! If you are unable to run/walk during this event we
ask that you join in on the route to cheer on the participants- bring out your
