heritage. See the largest grouping of homes on a unified site, ending at a home
designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1908, his first in Iowa. Scheduled tours are

Take a Kid Fishing Tournament –
Clear Lake. This fun tournament encourages teams of one adult and up to two
children ages 16 and under to fish together on Clear Lake, from a boat or on
the shoreline. The event focuses on fun, rather than competition. Any fish
caught in Clear Lake is eligible for weigh in. Free food and prizes for all
entries. Event time: 10am-1pm – PLUS, BONUS DNR Seminar for Kids at 8:30am!
Kids will learn to identify fish, and some basic fishing techniques. It is also

Pie Ride –This bicycle event sponsored by the North Iowa Touring Club where
participants ride at their own pace with three routes to choose from: 15
miles, 50 miles and 100 miles. The event includes a spaghetti lunch with
the best homemade pie in north Iowa. With registration, participants will
receive a pair of bicycle socks from DeFeet. Funds raised from this event
are used by the NITC to promote outdoor activities and bicycling road safety.
Make the ride what you like, burn up the road in a peloton with a group
