70th Annual Mohawk Follies – NIACC Auditorium, 500 College Drive. The Mason City High School Vocal Music department will present the 70th annual edition of The Follies. The performances are 7:30pm Thursday, 8:30 Saturday & 2:00pm Sunday. The theme this year is “Millennial Music”, a salute to pop music from the 1990s through the present. Selections include songs such as “This Is Me” as well as recent hits from Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. Tickets: $9 adults, $7 children/senior citizens and can be purchased at Hy-Vee East and West ($10 and $8 door).

Exhibit: Susanne Crane: Selected Works - Charles H. MacNider Art Museum (Center
Space Gallery), 303 2nd St. SE (641-421-3666). This exhibition features the paintings
of Albert Lea, MN artist Susanne Crane. The artworks highlight the
natural landscape and, perhaps, give the viewer a glimpse into the symbolic

Art - Charles H. MacNider
Art Museum (Center Space Gallery), 303 2nd St. SE (641-421-3666). The exhibition encourages viewers to
think of artists not only as creators, but as creative problem solvers. Objects
range in size from one hubcap to a series of objects; some are kinetic and
incorporate sound; while others directly reference specific environmental issues.
In some cases, the artist responded to the hubcap formally, by focusing on
design elements like color, line, shape, and texture in humorous or fanciful
ways. Open during all normal operation hours of the Museum. Exhibit will be on display until March 14, 2018. https://macniderart.org/
