NIACC Lifelong Learning: How Prairie School Architecture came to Mason City: The personalities who brought it all - Robert E. McCoy Architectural Interpretive Center, 520 1st St. NE (641-423-1923) Did you know that our locality, with our population of eight souls, only became a country in 1851, named Cerro Gordo, and when James Blythe first arrive here in 1877, he roomed with young Charles MacNider? Participants will have an opportunity to create a whimsical heart motif inspired by American pop artist Peter Maxx.
