American treasure John Prine has written songs for some of the biggest names in music, from Johnny Cash and John Denver to Ben Harper and Joan Baez. He’s won numerous honors, including two Grammy Awards and being one of the few songwriters honored by the Library of Congress and U.S. Poet Laureate.
