One of our favorite places in the whole wide world, the Charles MacNider Art Museum, 303 2nd SE in Mason City, is featuring the exhibit Drawn To Abstraction: Prints From The 1960's and 70's. Printmaking brought the excitement of the New York and International art scene within reach of middle-class collectors. Paul Weitzel and The Hats are gigging downtown on Friday evening, at FION Barra Wine Bar in Mason City, tunes start at 8:00 pm. Excellent band, great place, cool big-city vibe.
