August Bottle Share- Fat Hill Brewing, 17 N. Federal Ave (641-423-0737). Join Fat Hill Brewing the second Thursday of each month from 4-8pm for Bottle Share Night! Craft beer lovers are encouraged to bring at least 16 ounces of a new, rare, old, oddball or just plain delicious beer they'd like to share. Whether it’s a 2004 Cantillon Loerik you traded a kidney for, or just a great pale ale you had at the tiny brewery near your grandma’s house last weekend, beer geeks are encouraged to bring anything they’d like to share. Exhibit: Hava Hegenbarth: Capturing the Natural World - Charles H. MacNider Art Museum(Center Space Gallery), 303 2nd St. SE (641-421-3666). The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is pleased to highlight the whimsical images created by Mason City artist, Hava Hegenbarth.  Hava Hagenbarth: Capturing The Natural World, includes 29 prints and drawings.  Hagenbarth’s artwork, featuring an assortment of animals and natural landscapes, will transport the viewer to the continent of Africa without leaving North Iowa. Hegenbarth is retired from the U.S. Foreign Service where she served primarily in Africa.  She always had a love and talent for art but pursued other interests in her career.  She now has the free time to create the art she loves and share it with Museum visitors.  Exhibit will be on display until September 23, 2017 - open during normal museum hours. https://macniderart.org/
